Originally designed by Roy Yeabsley, the Sunspot 121 inch span glider was published in Aeromodeller, February 1948 edition. It features traditional all wood construction.
We have used the original plan to produce a Parts Set that includes tip shapes, wing ribs, all detailed with spar slots, shaped trailing edge with rib slots, sub fin shapes, fin ribs and fin outline, plus many other items. These parts will make the build a lot easier. Just add stripwood to start building straightaway.
The parts set uses the original Aeromodeller plan and is unmodified for radio assist, so the builder will have to make some constructional changes. Plan now included. Photo shown is of our own Sunspot modified for RC using the original FF plan.
