Belair Lavochkin La-7 Parts Set – 1/4 Scale
The Belair Parts Set for the Lavochkin La-7, designed by David Andersen, provides around 230 laser-cut and accurately marked balsa and plywood parts, making construction considerably quicker and easier.
Each part is laser cut and clearly marked with its corresponding plan number, including fuselage formers and bulkheads, wing ribs, dihedral braces, tail components, undercarriage mounts and numerous other shaped parts. Simply add the required strip and sheet wood and you can get straight on with the build, without the time-consuming job of cutting every individual component yourself.
The kit has recently been revised, with approximately 25 additional parts now included. These additions provide even greater value while reducing the amount of preparation and labour required during the build.

About the Lavochkin La-7
The Lavochkin La-7 was a high-performance Soviet fighter aircraft developed during the Second World War. It was a refined development of the earlier La-5 and the final aircraft in a family of fighters that began with the LaGG-1 in 1938.
Although evolutionary rather than revolutionary in its development, the La-7 was a highly capable fighter and was reportedly around 40 mph faster than the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-8.
Often described as the last of the Soviet Union's "Grand Piano" fighters, the La-7 was flown by several of the Soviet Air Force's highest-scoring aces. Among them was Ivan Kozhedub, the highest-scoring Allied fighter ace of the Second World War.
The Belair Parts Set gives you the shaped and laser-cut components needed to make a start on this impressive 1/4 scale La-7, while allowing you to source the strip and sheet wood to suit your own build.
